Advocacy Corps

The Advocacy Corps is a 9 month-long program starting in September 2017 which young adults between the ages of 19-30 get paid to organize their local community around federal legislation. This year’s class will be working on climate change legislation and will have the opportunity to work with FCNL staff to lobby their members of Congress. Applicants will also attend a 10 day-long training in August called the Washington Summer Intensive in Washington, DC. Organizers will receive a $3,000 upon stipend successful completion of work. This is a great opportunity to gain lobbying experience during the school year or while you are at home. The application deadline is April 10, 2017. In order to apply, applicants must fill out this application and submit 2 letters of recommendation to Katie@fcnl.org. Information about this program can be found on our website here.
