This three-part program will provide information and resources to A&S students who want to develop professional skills and benefit from networking and presentation opportunities. Students will attend a four-hour session to learn more about the following: resume development, interview skills, dressing for success, landing internships, networking, career management, etc. This session will be followed by an opportunity to interview a professional in a field that the student is interested in pursuing. In addition, the cohort will also work together to resolve a problem faced by a local non-profit and participate in a presentation at the end of the semester.
The seminar is scheduled for 10/3 and the informational interviews and group project will be scheduled at a later date.
Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to attend.
This program is offered in collaboration with the UA Career Center and the A&S Office of Experiential Learning.
