Students seeking externships and internships have many resources to assist with the process. ICUE can help to identify resources, assist with the application process, and help to prepare students for the position. Seminars are offered each semester to help students begin their search and individual assistance is available along the way.

In addition to meeting with a number of large agencies, you can personalize your visit by making individual appointments with people that align with your interests and career goals.

Cybercrime Internship

Internships through the Joint Electronic Crimes Taskforce provide an opportunity for UA undergraduate and graduate students to explore career paths and gain experience in the criminology and criminal justice fields.

Walker County Internship

Every summer New College interns live and work in Walker County, a rural community about 60 miles north of Tuscaloosa. Working closely with the Walker Area Community Foundation, UA interns learn first-hand the challenges and benefits of joining their talents and resources with those of community partners.
